Welcome to the 2026–2027 academic year at Samuel V. Champion High School! As your principal, I am thrilled to welcome our returning Chargers and greet our incoming freshman families as we launch into an incredible new year. We are dedicated to providing a safe, challenging, and intellectually stimulating environment that helps every student live out "The Champion Way". There is no greater gift than that of being a teacher. Every teacher and staff member at Champion High School is dedicated to the success of your children. There is no greater place to be than in Boerne ISD. This year’s theme is “Chargers Making an IMPACT!”

Congratulations to c/Col Ximena Diaz-Lopez on completing the AFJROTC Aim High Flight Academy (AHFA)!  The AHFA is a highly selective, three-week summer introductory aviation program sponsored by the U.S. Air Force for high school students, Air Force JROTC cadets, and college ROTC cadets. It provides participants with up to 15 logged flight hours, one-on-one instruction, and mentorship from active-duty aviators to inspire interest in flight careers.

Boerne ISD's Child Nutrition department is excited to welcome students and staff members for the new school year. The department's website provides information on everything you need to know when it comes to your student's school meals and nutrition. Here are a few of the most requested areas.

Students are expected to have funds available for the purchase of their meals. However, students who do not have funds in their accounts will be allowed to charge up to $50. Once a student's account falls to a negative balance, an email notification letter will be sent to the household informing them of the negative balance. Students are not allowed to charge any extra items including second portions, a la carte snacks and ice cream if funds are not available.
